Dear everyone, I offer no apologies
for my absentmindedness. I know that several of you will or already are rolling
your eyes. I am who I am, and I forget a lot of important things that I
shouldn’t. I counterbalance it a little by remembering inconsequential,
insignificant, random facts. I think it’s a pretty fair trade off.
Anyway, my mission has been
charging along. I have made some very close friends here at the family history
center, and they are some fantastic individuals. Another youth missionary here,
Sister Tanner and I have been in charge of creating training presentations for
the staff these last few months. She makes the slides, and I do a voice-over to
make it interesting. Because of this, I have become known as The Voice™.
Apparently my voice is strong, commanding, and enchantingly beautiful (who knew
right?).
I have about
two months left here at the center, and I go to school after that. It’s a
little bittersweet, but it will be good for me to move on and tell myself that
I completed something despite being told numerous times that other parts of my
life were more important, or that this mission just wasn't worth my time. I
know for a fact that it is, and I want to thank everyone that has supported me
through it.
Love, Elder Porcelli
